Financial details such as your expenses and budget are deeply personal. Budget Buddy is built to protect your privacy: your data stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, store or share any information that identifies you, and it does not send your expenses, budgets or categories off your device.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter is stored only on your iPhone or iPad. Deleting the app deletes the data. If you export a CSV file, you decide where it goes.

Network access

When it opens, the app downloads a small file to check whether a newer version is required. The request carries no personal data and nothing you entered.

Third parties

The app has no ads, no analytics and no third-party tracking.

Children

Because the app collects no data, it collects no data from children either.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
